Keeping up a family tradition
For those of you who don’t know, my husband is 4th generation to live here at our home in Ludwig’s Corner. This picture is of his Aunt Betty’s father at the Ludwig’s Corner Teahouse just about a hundred years ago. It was located just next door to our market, where Sunoco is today. Apparently they sold gasoline, kerosene, tea, and “sundries” (basically anything they felt like selling). It was a local gathering spot, where people got to know each other, catch up on current events, and sit down to look at Facebook together… the real Facebook that is! Come on over to our market and get to know your neighbors, face to face.
See you soon,
Angie, Grandma Zook’s Granddaughter
